Paulie is a pop surrealism artist influenced by classic horror films, vintage adverts and German expressionism. Paulie works with varied traditional materials such as pencils, pastels, markers and acrylics.
Paulie first exhibited at the age of thirteen. After that she had almost ten year break in arts, just to start again with a double power as a grown up but not too serious creator. Since then Paulie's Creations have been shown and published across the UK, Europe and the US of A.
Paulie mainly creates bizarre lowbrow pieces that range from realistic to cartoony, from humorous to spooky, and are deeply inspired by both the 50s era and classic horror films. No wonder Paulie's well recognised Kiddies came into being shaped by vintage adverts, trimmed with artist's distinctive creepy flavour. Kiddies as a mixture of innocence and disturbing elements taste deliciously grotesque.
